About Dr. Duralia

Dr. Duralia was raised in upstate South Carolina. After earning a degree in psychology from Furman University, he received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his Family Medicine training at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA in 2002. Following residency, he and his wife, Jennifer, wanted to return to the foothills, and settled in Hickory. He has been with Unifour Family Practice since 2004.

Dr. Duralia and Jennifer have 2 children, Hunter and Anna Kate. He enjoys golf, outdoor sports, home improvement projects, and camping. He is active with Corinth Reformed Church, and very appreciative that his vocation allows him the opportunity to help people physically, mentally and spiritually. He considers it a privilege to relate to patients how God is working in his and their lives for His Glory. Dr. Duralia believes we are urged to “admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all” – 1Thes 5:14.

Dr. Duralia enjoys spending time with patients and developing relationships with them and their families. He believes this gives him a better picture of what is actually going on with the patient. He places great importance in the provider taking the history from the patient in order to get a better picture of how to help. He was taught if a physician listens to the patient, they generally have the answer; you are there to help them discern it and guide them to improve their health.

Dr. Duralia has been involved with the Catawba County Medical Society Board since 2003, serving as President in 2008 and 2009 and President of Catawba County Medical Society Foundation 2011 and 2012. He has active medical staff privileges at both CVMC and FRMC.

About Ken Anderson

Ken Anderson is originally from Savannah, Georgia and moved to Hickory, NC in 2007 with his wife and two children. Ken graduated from Armstrong State University in Savannah with his Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Care and worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at several Savannah hospitals. Desiring to have more input into the care of his patients, Ken pursued a Master of Science in the Physician Assistant program at South University graduating in 2005.

Since completing graduate school, Ken has worked in various medical settings including Cardiothoracic/Vascular surgery, Emergency medicine, Internal and Occupational Medicine. Since 2015, Ken worked most recently in Family Medicine in Hickory. Ken enjoys helping patients to achieve optimal health and quality of life with tailored programs within the standard of care model that also helps patients achieve their personal goals.

When not working, Ken enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with his family and their dog, Jack, a rescue Pitt bull. Ken looks forward to meeting you and your family and working with you in meeting your healthcare needs and goals.

About Kimberly Weaver

Originally from the Ohio River valley of West Virginia, Kimberly earned her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1997 from the University of Rio Grande in Ohio. Relocating to North Carolina, she completed her BS in Nursing at UNC-Pembroke in 2003. Kimberly’s nursing career, spanning over two decades, brings experience in cancer screening & prevention, oncology, and cardiac issues. Since moving to Hickory in 2003, she worked in the oncology department at Catawba Valley Medical Center and served as the Breast Cancer Navigator from 2013-2016. Kimberly received her Masters of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus at Duke University in 2015. She is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International. Kimberly has been nationally certified as an Oncology Certified Nurse.

Kimberly and her husband, Jason Weaver of Mountain View, are the parents of two girls, Savannah and Charlotte. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and canning, photography, crafting and traveling with her family. The Weavers attend Mountain View Baptist Church. She feels blessed to be a part ofUnifour Family Practice, where she sees patients of all ages with acute and chronic illnesses, but most enjoys treating adolescents and young adults, as well as cancer survivors, helping them transition back to health. She also has a special interest in the treatment of anxiety and depression. Kim takes_ pleasure in getting to know her patients and their families, as well as being a part of their community.

About Maelia Stamey

Mae was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of Cuban immigrants who came to the United States in the 1960s in pursuit of the American dream. From an early age, she was inspired by her family’s resilience and determination—values that continue to shape her approach to life and healthcare.

She began her academic journey at North Greenville College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Biology in 1994. She went on to graduate with honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1997, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Mae then spent the next 19 years gaining diverse clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in surgery, cardiology, and emergency medicine at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

Driven by a desire to provide more advanced care to her patients, Mae earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Medicine from Duke University in 2015. She is dually certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by both the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also completed a yearlong post-graduate fellowship through Atrium Health in Charlotte, which deepened her clinical knowledge and broadened her skill set.

Mae is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and takes pride in creating a space of trust, respect, and open communication. She believes strongly in preventative medicine and patient education, helping individuals take charge of their health and live longer, healthier lives. Advocacy is central to her practice—whether guiding patients through complex decisions or supporting everyday wellness goals, she is committed to walking alongside them every step of the way.

Mae lives in western Lincolnton with her husband Johnny, her college sweetheart. Together, they’ve raised two children and enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, gardening, watching football, and traveling.

About Kyle Craver

I chose medicine as my second career after several years of working in research and teaching. I wanted the opportunity to help people over the long term, and I like solving puzzles and problems – so it was a natural progression.

Prior to attending physician assistant (PA) school, I served as a medic with the North Carolina Army National Guard. I obtained a scholarship through the U.S. Air Force for my medical training, and served after graduating as an active duty physician assistant in the U.S. Air Force. While on active duty, I deployed to Africa, where I served as the medical director of a small medical facility, where I provided care to active duty personnel and members of the local population, and responded to mass casualty events and coordinated emergency medical evacuations.

My wide range of clinical experience and training includes trauma; critical care; general surgery; interventional radiology; emergency medicine; and primary care.

Ultimately, I chose family practice because it allows me to stay involved and invested in the health and well-being of my patients. I enjoy listening to and getting to know my patients so we can work together as partners on the journey towards their health and wellness goals.

When I’m not treating patients, I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, working out, and spending time with my family and friends.
